    Easy to assemble. Position in an open space where birds can dart in and out from shrubs and trees. Go for squirrel proof feeders and provide peanuts, fat balls, sunflower hearts and nigella seeds to attract a good variety of birds. This has been VERY successful. I counted 15 different species of garden birds in the first two weeks where I had very few before. If you are troubled by parakeets, as we are, tie string diagonally across the square of your squirrel proof feeder cage that is in line with the first hole of the seed container tube. Only fill seeds to the level of this first feeding hole. Small birds can get around the string and access the seeds but parakeets' heads are too big to get in. Keep your binoculars handy!
