I have been looking for a spiker for a little while, after reading some of the other reviews, initially it did put me off but I eventually bit the bullet and bought this one... I have used it on my front and back lawns and it’s done what I wanted and expected it to do. The spikes are very sharp and will pierce most soils, the products reasonably heavy and well made, the handle and pole are sturdy enough and doesn’t feel as though it’s going to break, the only gripe I would have is the nuts on the roller vibrate and loosen off when using, can use loc-tite to seal or simply carry a 17mm spanner and tighten every now and then... Don’t let it put you off too much, it’s not a deal breaker in my opinion. I am happy with the purchase thus-far, the price was how much I wanted to pay, delivery was quicker than expected (thank you Amazon) and my gardens aerated. Jobs a good un.
