This is definitely the best value trolling motor I have found and is perfect for my Intex Seahawk 4. I had no issues using the motor and got good speed and control both on the loch and at the ocean, which was a bit choppier. I was a little disappointed that the power display was not the same as in the manual and that the tiller angle doesn't adjust as the manual says it does (however neither of these have proved to be an issue). The round metal bits at the end of the bolts that fix the motor onto the transom also started to rust after my first time using it in salt water. However, I just rinsed them and spayed them with WD40. Hopefully they'll be fine. For these minor issues, I give it 4 stars. However, I decided not to return it even if it is not exactly as described as I couldn't really find better value out there and I am well pleased I kept it as I see they are now out of stock. I would definitely recommend for someone who operates on a tight budget like me.
