Great little heater. Very powerful for the size. And best it's silent! I had a halogen a while back which drove me berserk when it turned making a awful clicking noise. Then a fan. Well that was awful like a Hoover.
This however is silent. And perfect for early morning or late at night when the temp drops and kids are all snuggled in bed but you want to warm one room.
My living room is not small. It's 7 metres long and 5 metres wide. And I turned this on to the 1250 watt setting and within only 15 mins I turned down to 750 as was so warm. Then turned the setting down to low and we were kept just right for the evening.
Bought as I've soon to have my baby daughter home from the hospital she was a prem and as a result has many health issues so need the room she will be in to stay warm. But with older children who are active I don't want all the house roasting!
It's perfect as it's so efficient. And very light weight to move around. The feet come separate so you just screw them on. Unlike some reviews I've seen i managed easily to do this. No problems at all.
I checked my metre electric wise. Checked a hour with out it on. Then a hour with.
At the 750 watt I used less than 5p. The 1250 about 6p. Then 2000 around 8p.
When I've got the central on I use around 18p. So a big diff.
Def reccomend for the soon to be super chilly winter nights and freezing mornings getting kids up and ready for school. Least now can get it nice and warm in the kitchen or living room. Going to buy another next week.
