Designer / Social Media Marketing Assistant (Full-Time)

We are looking for an individual who is creative, versatile, pro-active in thinking and willing to learn to develop their skills for a long-term career.

Job Roles:

  • Design banners and graphics for use on Oypla.com & social media posts
  • Design and create posts for all social media platforms in keeping with company image
  • Optimise content on pots to maximise reach and influence
  • Report on success of all social media posts
  • Use marketing strategy and initiative to influence social media posts
  • Liase with product photographer to ensure highest quality images
  • Assist with photography of company products for use on all platforms
  • Edit product images to high standard for use on all platforms
  • Design graphics and images for product manuals and instruction leaflets

Skills Required:

  • Pro-active & independent
  • Extensive knowledge of social media
  • Be able to effectively analyse data
  • Understand and work towards an effective marketing strategy
  • Adjust and react to changes quickly
  • Influence strategy changes with appropriate data and evidence
  • Extensive knowledge of Adobe Photoshop
  • Experience in photography and editing

The ideal candidate (although not essential) will have minimum of 2 years office experience in a sales environment.

Online Sales Executive (Full-Time)

We are looking for an individual who is confident, organised, determined and hungry to succeed in a pro-active sales environment and willing to learn to develop their skills for a long-term career.

Job Roles:

  • Select products from company range to promote on key online marketplaces
  • Negotiate prices/deals with customers to achieve best possible results
  • Maintain relationships with existing customer buyers and develop relationships with new ones
  • Effectively report on sales activity across all online marketplace channels
  • Be able to forward plan / selecting stocked lines to sell to customers
  • Use current events or trends to influence sales
  • Office based, 20% on telephone building relationships / 80% on computer pushing products via emails

Skills Required:

  • Must have a passion for sales & results
  • Able to work directly towards targets and strategies
  • Be confident working independently
  • Good administration skills and organised
  • Good communication skills both online and telephone
  • Good numeracy and literacy skills (competent on Microsoft Excel)

Logistics Supervisor (Full-Time)

We are looking for an individual wanting a full-time office based role who is extremely organised, possesses excellent IT/administration skills, is forward thinking and willing to learn to develop their skills for a long term career.

Job Roles:

  • Work with suppliers from Far East (mainly China) to confirm container shipping schedules for products in manufacture
  • Work with suppliers to ensure we obtain product order loading information/reports to assist with payments / clearance / delivery
  • Work with shipping agents to ensure manufactured products get shipped in containers on time as expected
  • Negotiate prices with shipping agents to ensure we are getting best possible shipping rates
  • Ensure healthy relationships maintained with existing shipping agents
  • Effectively research and confirm accurate product duty codes for clearance
  • Liaise with Operations Supervisor to ensure containers are being strategically planned for UK warehouse delivery
  • Use forecasted expected times of arrival to ensure suppliers/agents are going to deliver containers of goods on time as planned
  • Office based, 10% on telephone / 90% on computer planning imports and communicating via emails

Skills Required:

  • Must be forward thinking / pro-active to plan accurate deliveries and act accordingly
  • Must have confidence to push suppliers/agents to get results (containers shipping on time as expected)
  • Must be able to work directly towards targets and planned strategies
  • Be confident working independently
  • Good administration skills and very well organised
  • Good communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Maintain & develop relationship with suppliers and shipping agents
  • Be able to analyse data effectively

The ideal candidate will have minimum of 2 years full time employment of administration experience (ideally within logistics/freight forwarding) within an office environment.

Quality Control / Compliance Supervisor (Full-Time)

We are looking for an individual wanting a full-time role who is extremely practically minded, hands on and possesses excellent IT/administration skills, is forward thinking and willing to learn to develop their skills for a long-term career.

Job Roles:

  • Ensure every product imported is fully researched, compliant and certified to meet correct and latest standards
  • Work with suppliers from Far East (mainly China) to confirm products will be certified (when necessary) and comply to British Standards
  • Work with suppliers to ensure we obtain pre & post product manufacture information/reports to assist with product quality / packaging / compliance
  • Work with internal Operations Supervisor and Customer Services for up to date product feedback to improve/correct product defects (product quality/packaging/manuals etc.)
  • Supply procurement dept. product analysis of returns/damages to enable negotiation of obtaining product credits from suppliers
  • Oversee a quality control assistant
  • Office & Warehouse based, 20% reviewing supplier production reports / 20% investigating product defects for improvement / 30% inspecting quality of delivered goods / 30% researching product compliance

Skills Required:

  • Must be forward thinking / pro-active to assess product defects for improvement and act accordingly
  • Must be hands on / practically minded to review delivered products and communicate future improvements
  • Must be able to work directly towards targets and planned strategies (to reduce returns/quality complaints etc.)
  • Be confident working independently and overseeing/organising an assistant's day to day work load
  • Have ability to research thoroughly to ensure each product fully complies to latest standards
  • Good administration skills and very well organised
  • Good communication skills (both with internal staff and external suppliers)
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Be able to analyse data effectively

The ideal candidate will have minimum of 2 years full time employment of combined office/warehouse experience (ideally within QC / compliance department).
